Cost savings webinar poster

Join GMS as we examine managing and optimizing cost savings in employee relocations. Our panel of experts will address key questions and share insights across four critical areas: household goods, temporary housing, destination services, and immigration.

  1. Household Goods: We will examine strategies for containerized domestic shipments, timed packing and loading, and collaborative program management to help mitigate rising transportation costs.
  2. Temporary Housing:  Our discussion will cover trends in the average length of stay allowed by policy and strategies for managing costs effectively within temporary living arrangements, focusing on balancing needs against budget allotments.
  3. Destination Services:  We’ll review current trends in policy allowances, costs, and the duration of relocation programs. Additionally, we’ll highlight the benefits of pre-decision trips for better budgeting and planning.
  4. Immigration: Our experts will address cost-saving measures for immigration-related expenses, including legal and government fees. We’ll also briefly discuss the critical link between tax considerations and immigration during the pre-decision and budgeting phases.
