Global Assignment Manager

We are seeking an experienced Global Assignment Manager who has a minimum of three years working directly in global business, visa and immigration. Individual must have excellent communication and writing skills to correspond with assignees on a worldwide basis.  This position is unique in that it offers the opportunity to be immersed in the exciting world of global relocation.  The following is a short list of the requirements for this excellent opportunity.

Responsibilities

•    Provide in-depth counseling on assignment and permanent programs, reviewing benefits with assignee/employee
•    Updating Client and internal department of the status of the assignment from departure to repatriation
•    Create cost estimates and/or obtain cost projections for budgeting
•    Coordinate tax counseling, visa and immigration services for assignee/employee
•    Setting up destination services with worldwide providers, ensuring completion of required services
•    Research sources and materials to continue building a database of information for country-specific locations
•    Assist in other departmental functions, including relocations within North America

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s or associates degree in global business, or a related area is preferred.
•    Certified Relocation Professional and/or Global Mobility Specialist designation highly desired.
•    Ability to create cost estimates and/or cost projections for assignments.
•    Understand visa and immigration processes and procedures.
•    Exceptional communication skills and experience with setting up global services with destination providers.
•    Creative, confident, organized with an eye for detail.
•    Good knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation. A second language is desired.
•    Can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and keep projects on task.
•    Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and relocation tracking software.
