GLOBAL ASSIGNMENT MANAGER

Global Mobility Solutions (GMS) is expanding our global operations teams and seeking a remote-based candidate willing to learn, grow and foster long-term relationships with existing clients and their relocating employee base. Our ideal team member serves as a single point of coordination for relocating and transferring employees worldwide.

 

This individual will manage a caseload of assignment management and international transfers while maintaining high levels of quality. The candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, manage multiple priorities, and keep projects on task.

Responsibilities

  • Provides in-depth counseling on international assignments and permanent programs, reviewing benefits with assignees and HR contacts.
  • Daily use of proprietary technology and processes to manage approved services.
  • Coordinate tax counseling, visa/immigration services; set up destination services programs, language, cultural, travel, spousal assistance, corporate housing, real estate, and mortgage services with worldwide providers, ensuring completion of required services.
  • Monitors progress provides status updates via email and meetings with HR, service partners and internal departments.
  • Collaborates with GMS internal teams to support new service introductions.
  • Adapts to different business cultures and adheres to business processes.
  • Present information in formal and informal settings.
  • Provides project and account liaison support, as assigned by management.
  • Support business development via client and prospect presentations.
  • Manages individual reporting for maximum caseload management.
  • Participates in the implementation and transitional meetings, as applicable.
  • Meets and exceeds established goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in global business is preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of relocation or related experience.
  • Proven knowledge on relocation and assignment services.
  • Certified Relocation Professional and/or Global Mobility Specialist designation preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of assignment management and permanent transfers.
  • Dual or multiple languages preferred (speaking and writing).
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and relocation tracking software.
