We are seeking a detailed-oriented go-getter for our newest Van Line Specialist position.  This individual would be responsible for monitoring a caseload with our Premier Alliance Network & following each move from assignment through to delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry a caseload consisting of both international, cross border & domestic files.
  • Assign out moves within the network to appropriate partners based on internal KPI’s.
  • Audit each estimate for accuracy against the contract & client policy.
  • Use time management skills to track all files through the move process.
  • Complete basic data entry.
  • Work within the Transportation team to address reoccurring challenges & present progressive ideas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with global & domestic coaches to identify best practices for each customer & client.
  • Demonstrate a pro-active approach to working through challenges while using all resources available to you.

Qualifications:

  • International & domestic moving/storage experience.
  • Knowledge of the 400N (or similar) tariff, components & terminology.
  • Microsoft office proficient (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • CMC & CRP designations a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working with Relocation Management Companies a plus, but not required.

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager who will act as the key relationship driver to create, cultivate, and foster a stable long term partnership with assigned client(s). They will provide strategic consulting and monitor operational performance to ensure that GMS executes services to the overall requirements and expectations of assigned client(s).

Responsibilites:
  • Manage the overall relationship between GMS and assigned client(s).
  • Act as the primary interface between client(s) and all functional departments within GMS.
  • Work closely with client relocation coaches, assignment managers, and functional leaders to build programs and processes that meet client’s business requirements.
  • Act as advisor to clients making best practice recommendations regarding policy, program and service delivery methodologies.
  • Manage all GMS aspects of projects agreed to between GMS and client(s) for program development and process improvement.
  • Oversees the performance of GMS service quality and work closely with GMS’s VPs of Global and Domestic Service Delivery regarding any service improvements or enhancements.
  • Act as the single point of contact for any service escalation issues that require GMS management involvement and resolution.
  • Keep abreast of changing business requirements with client(s) and make recommendations on strategies and methodologies to achieve service/operational excellence.
  • Conduct client reviews.
  • Deliver and review all management reporting.
  • Implement and train on GMS technologies.
  • Manage Service Level Agreements, SOW’s and Engagement Proposals between GMS and assigned client(s).
  • Cultivate and foster continued partnership between GMS and assigned client(s).
  • Manage the new client implementation process from beginning to end.
  • Work closely with client contacts and payables teams to ensure timely payment of service invoices, collections on past due accounts, researches and answers client questions related to billing.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relocation industry experience.
  • Sales and account management experience a plus.
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Relocation Professional and/or Global Mobility Specialist designation.
  • Excellent organizational, coordination and problem-solving skills.
